thanks jason

My special youngest grandson - I truly enjoyed reading your blog and I think you are very good at telling it like you did. I also asked you to tell me and you did. I have always voted for the man or woman I think will do a good job, but I don't always seem to really know just who to vote for. I have always just prayed that whomever was elected will do a great job, and our leader will be strong, just, compasionate, have faith in us all and love God and hope to do His will. I am sorry I question you. But I love you so very much and always want the best for all my family and have love for each other. Thank you again for expressing yourself as you did and hope all the rest will do the same. Your loving and very proud Gran.

saturday the 15

It has been a good day. I got up feeling OK and decided to do things all day. Started off with making a couple pecan pies then toasted a pan full of bread so I can run it thru a crusher to make the turkey dressing. Then weighed up the pecans I shelled yesterday and was so pleased that I got another 5 and a half pounds from the 10 pounds I had shelled. I truly do enjoy shelling pecans especially when they are cracked so neatly and clean. Still have 30 pounds to do. Had to buy pecans this year as I didn't have any this year. But I sure do have a crop of leaves. John Chlapek said he would come and mow them. Then after I had some lunch I started checking thru boxes and drawers looking for the things I have been doing to give to my family for Christmas. As before, I will give my grandkids their Christmas box at Thanksgiving since none of the Blairs will be here for Christmas. Still don't know if the Fowler's will come Christmas or not. I know Artie will. Everyone is to be here thanksgiving at your parents house, Jason, cept you and Joce. I shall miss you. I am making more of the minature Christmas stockings with a candy cane and legend of the candy cane for the new residents at the nursing home. I only had five made and it looks like I may have 15 to 20. We have lost too many this year - either by death or being moved to another one. My friend, Nita Collier, is in the Weston Inn nursing home, so for our Christmas crochet party we will have it at the nursing home. Well, I am off to make some little stockings and say goodnight. You haven't told me what you want me to blog about. I thank you, Jason for your email I got just now. Thanks for making things clear for me. Far as I know right now all seems to be doing OK. Tammy and her twin baby girls are doing fine. She is due about March 8. Lisa, Shelli and Scott are in San Antonio running a marathon. I do enjoy your blog and whoever else has one. Amy do you? Or Art or Andy, Wade, Colin and Shelli? Love to all my kids.

I eat most every kind of food and I love you family very much and feel most blessed to have all of you. love you, gran

My First Post

Today I attended Lula Mae's memorial service. Her turtles are now living in Guy and Cindy's back yard turtle farm. Helen and I will go to bingo and come home to crochet. I'm having a blast, and I feel terrific. Love you all, Gran
